Antwan R. Smith, Senior Pastor
Antwan R. Smith is a highly energetic and charismatic leader that knows how to bring
out the best in people. Although being raised in a single parent household, Antwan
credits his family for making him a well-rounded individual. As a young boy, he was
influenced by members of his family in becoming a responsible young man.
After a chain of troubling circumstances in his young life, Antwan received Jesus as
Savior in 1992 at the age of 17. Two years later, he attended Bible college where he
helped out in evangelism outreaches and established many relationships that still exist
today.
In the following years, Antwan used his leadership skills to become a great support in a
host of areas in the church. He was appointed to serve as head usher at the age of 20,
and shortly after was promoted to youth leader. In addition, he served as small group
leader, event coordinator, prison ministry leader, and adult class teacher.
In the workplace things were no different. When working in the factory he not only did his
assigned job, but took classes and earned certifications that enabled him to become a
volunteer internal auditor in the company. Later when he worked in sales, he attained
national recognition for sales and outstanding customer service, and became the first
ever to win a national award at his place of employment.
Today, Antwan continues to minister and fulfill the call of God upon his life with the
support of his wife, Nikisha, and their son. He is the founder and Pastor of Impact
Christian Center, a multi-cultural church located in Beavercreek, Ohio. Impact Christian
Center started in a hotel on April 8th, 2007 and by April of 2009, God opened a door for
the church to purchase its first building. In 2011, the church family banded together and
completely renovated the property, bringing the building completely up to date. ICC
supports mission outreaches in Nicaragua and Haiti that preach the gospel, feed, clothe,
and provide medical care and treatment to many families and individuals in those areas.
In addition, Impact Christian Center supports a Dayton outreach that helps to feed
families and individuals across the Miami Valley area. ICC also has a daily radio
outreach, "Insights", that broadcasts worldwide on WGNZ.
Antwan's love for God and people compels him to be a committed leader and example
to his family and congregation.
