Walking in the Spirit
Father God, in the name of Jesus, today I choose walk in the Spirit and not fulfill
the deeds of the flesh. For if I live according to the flesh I will die, but if by the
Spirit I put to death, on a daily basis, the deeds of the body I will live. It is my
desire and prayer that I live my life being continually led by the Spirit of God; for
then I am a child of God by character. I did not receive the spirit of bondage
again to fear, but I received the Spirit of adoption by whom I cry out Abba
Father. The Spirit Himself bears witness with my spirit that I am a child of God,
and if a child, then an heir; an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ, if indeed I
suffer with Him, that I may also be glorified together.

Therefore I choose to be a radical doer of the Word of God and not a hearer
only lest I deceive myself. I possess my soul and bring everything thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ. I seek those things that are above where
Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. I set my mind on things above, not on
things on the earth; for I died and my life is now hidden in Christ in God.

I put to death my members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness,
passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. I put off the old, carnal,
sinful nature of the old man: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language
from my mouth, offense, pride, self-centeredness, and lying. I put on the new
man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created
him: tender mercies, loving kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering,
forgiveness, and above all love, which is the bond of perfection. I am bearing the
fruit of the Spirit and crucifying the deeds of the flesh. Thank You, Lord for the
strength to walk in the Spirit daily in Jesus' name, Amen.
